Already reached your chosen language level and want to earn an internationally recognised certificate to document what you have learned? This compact course specifically prepares you for the telc exam. The interactive classes help you consolidate your vocabulary and practise using typical phrases and idioms by tackling a series of simulated exam questions.

The course will give you a feel for the type of exam questions you will face and the examination procedure. We will show you how to approach the exam and let you take mock tests to ensure you are ready for the real thing.

Additional study: 2 to 3 hours per week

All you need for our online courses is a computer with a microphone, a webcam and an internet connection. It doesn’t matter where you happen to be. The classes take place at set times every week. Our online courses are taught by the same highly qualified teachers as our classroom-based courses.

Requirements

No prior knowledge of the language is required for A1 courses. For higher-level courses, we expect you to be comfortable with the previous level. Take our placement test to make sure that you are at the right level.

Objectives

B1 – Pre-intermediate

By the end of this level B1 course, you will be able to understand the main points if clear, standard speech is used and the topic is a familiar one, regularly encountered at work, school, in your leisure activities, etc. You will be able to deal with most situations likely to arise when travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You will be able to express yourself in simple and coherent terms on topics that are familiar or of personal interest. You will be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and to give brief reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

You can take the exam at our accredited examination centre. The exam fees are not included in the course price.
