Already reached your chosen language level and want an internationally recognised Cambridge diploma to prove it? Our compact exam preparation courses teach you what to expect in terms of questions and exam procedure and look at exam strategies. You and your fellow students will take part in mock tests and role-play exercises and will receive constructive feedback from your teacher.

You will also be encouraged to use our online learning platform for self-study, consolidating and expanding on what you have learned.

Additional study: 2 to 3 hours per week

All you need for our online courses is a computer with a microphone, a webcam and an internet connection. It doesn’t matter where you happen to be. The classes take place at set times every week. Our online courses are taught by the same highly qualified teachers as our classroom-based courses.

Requirements

No prior knowledge of the language is required for A1 courses. For higher-level courses, we expect you to be comfortable with the previous level. Take our placement test to make sure that you are at the right level.

Objectives

B2 – Intermediate

By the end of this level B2 course, you will be able to understand the main content of complex texts on concrete and abstract themes. You will also be able to follow higher-level discussions in your own particular field of interest. You will be able to communicate spontaneously and fluently enough to hold a normal conversation with a native speaker without much effort on either part. You will be able to express yourself clearly and in detail on a broad range of subjects, explain your stance on a topical issue and describe the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Qualification

Depending on your language level, we can prepare you for the following exams:

Level B1:Preliminary Certificate in English (PET)
Level B2: First Certificate in English (FCE) 
Level C1: Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) 

The fees for the accredited examination centres are not included in the cost of the course.

On completing this course, you have a choice of options if you wish to continue to improve or consolidate your language skills.

Our online placement test will give you an idea of whether you have reached the level you need. If you wish to take part in an exam preparation course, we will also need you to take an additional entry test.
